Because of some technical difficulties, it is just easier if we give you the link to Mr. Dowsett’s webpage where he is posting photographs and blog posts detailing some of the adventures we have had so far.  If you want to see what we are up to, please go to for pictures and/or to read the blog.

So again, pictures are here and the blog is here.

Other than that, we are just fine!  Hopefully your child has called you (especially if they said they would) and you can see just how awesome we look in Berlin.

See you soon!

This blog is the companion site to the Huron Park Remembers website created by staff at Huron Park Secondary School in Woodstock, Ontario.  We hope to have the time to post photos while the Active Remembrance Club is on our second international tour, this time to pay tribute to the Canadian soldiers who fought during the Liberation of the Netherlands and Victory in Europe.  This year marks the 65th anniversary of those events, and will be the last formal celebration in which the Netherlands will participate.

Our motto at the school is pride, respect, and responsibility.  We demonstrate that through our active remembrance campaign.  We will show our community, Canada, and the world, that Canadian students have not forgotten the horrors of the Second World War.  We have not forgotten the bravery and sacrifices made by ordinary Canadians who may never have returned home.  We have not forgotten.
